This is absolutely the best shooting 4" gun Wilson Combat builds & my choice in a carry gun. It's based on the Elite Professional model with the flanged cone barrel technology. That barrel system greatly reduces felt recoil & allows much faster follow up shots. They really shoot like a full size 1911 to me.
The RDP Elite has LOTS of super features. The all bullet proof parts package includes an ambi safety. The barrel is attractively crowned, slide stop is countersunk, & the frame is a bobtail. This model comes standard with a rear battle sight & front gold bead sight. The chamber is fluted with a really neat effect.
There have only been a handfull of these built & I kept two of them myself so you won't have seen any information on them. (There is also a similar model called the RDP Carry that has a compact frame with round butt).
