If you think this is a new model, it's not. Very few folks have heard of the RDP Elite because only two have been built before. One of those rides in my holster so only one has been sold. I honestly don't even recall ordering one in 9mm. This could well be the only one ever built in 9mm since Wilson Combat has discontinued the Tactcial Elite in all calibers other than .45 ACP. This pistol is based on the 4" version of that model...the Elite Professional. I was quite surprised when it arrived since they only built one UCP Unlimited (big brother to this gun) in 9mm & refuse to build more...I've asked several times!
This will absolutely be the softest shooting 4" 1911 you could have. The flanged cone barrel really reduces recoil & makes for an incredibly smooth shooter. Since the 9mm is already a very comfortable & controlable caliber, this will just be an awesome pistol!
The RDP Elite has all of the RDP features plus the flanged cone barrel technology, gold bead front sight, & bullet proof ambi safety. This is truly a unique pistol.
