It seems that occasionally guns are built that are a bit unique & different in some way than the others of the same model. More often than not, those become collectible items & soar in value. This is one of those guns!
During the past few months, Wilson Combat made changes to both the logo on their pistols as well as the serrations on top of the slide. This example is a mixture...it has the old style serrations (many prefer them over the new) but is adorned with the new logo. You could call it a "Transition" gun. You're certainly not likely to see another one like it. Time will tell, but this might just be a gun that becomes really desireable in the future.
The Tactical Supergrade is the "Cream of the Crop". This gun was ordered with a bull barrel. It's finished in all black Armor-Tuff except for the trigger left in the white. It's loaded with goodies that include serrations on top of the slide, checkering on the of rear of the slide, ambidextrous safety, & ships with 6 ETM magazines. This pistol also has upgraded G10 Starburst grips, flush cut barrel with reverse crown, beveled frame with shortened slide stop pin, plus a bullet proof recoil spring plug! In addition, it's marked "Supergrade" instead of the usual "Tactical Supergrade". What a beautiful pistol!
